We travelled South on Sunday to face a combined Reserves and First team for Crawley Wasps who give them their due battled through first half, frustrating us every time we ventured forward by pushing up high and looking for the off side. By half time having chance after chance go wide or over the top we were only 0 1 up from a supreme effort from Nina Boorman.
The second half we took them apart with fantastic passing football and pace, our wonder kid Chanel Richards once again came on after 15 mins and within 10 mins scored three goals this was followed up by 2 superb individual goals from Emma Treanor powering through midfield. three more goals were to follow. The final icing on the cake came from a great run by Emily Jones finished by slotting the ball home into the corner of the net.
Our overall quality and strength was to much for this young Crawley side we just to hot to handle. We now look forward to the Quarter finals in January away to Farnham Town Ladies.
