AFC Wimbledon Ladies 3 - 4 London Corinthians Ladies (AET)
This tie had to be played at Tooting & Mitcham United FC; Imperial Fields/The Hub; Bishopsford Roa; Morden; SM4 6BF
Wimbledon started the match poorly and conceded mid-way through the 1st half with the visitors relishing the match against a team 2 divisions higher.
Half Time 0-1
in an attempt to shake things up Wimbledon Manager Tony Milstead made substitutions at the start of the2nd half with Mel Baroni replacing Kim McLean at Right ack and also bringing on Striker Chanel Richards for Jodie Fernandes, but this did not have the immediate desired effect as Wimbledon again conceded poorly to go 2 down in the 47th minute.
This rallied Wimbledon and American Midfield/Striker Ashley Hall reduced the deficit in the 54th minute.
Soon after the hour mark Wimbledon made their 3rd and final change as Emily Pratley-Jones replaced Charlie Powell in midfield.
In the 67th minute Substitute Chanel Richards restored parity; then with 7 minutes remaining Hall rounded the Keeper to ensure Wimbledon took the lead for the 1st time.
With barely 90 secionds remaining Corinthians scored to level the tie again.
Full Time 3-3
In the 1st half of extra time Corinthians Goalkeeper brought down Richards as she tried to go round and was shown a red card for her rugby tackle.
Lou Cooper stepped up to take the penalty and scored only for the referee to insist it was retaken as the replacement keeper was not ready; Copper strucjk the ball in exactly the same place but this time oit was saved.

Then with 8 minutes remaining before penalties a mistake from the struggling Wimbledon Keeper Leanne Knopp led to a lofted ball to her near post being palmed into the net.
Wimbledon could not break through the now stallwart Corinthians defance and jubilation belonged to the visitors as the referee blew for Full Time, of Extra Time
