Match report
AFC WIMBLEDON LADIES 2 NORWICH CITY LADIES 0
AFC Wimbledon Ladies eased past Norwich City with a late goal in each half to reach the last 32 of the F A Women's Cup.
In a lacklustre first half a Laura Smith cutback found Carly Hunt who brought a fine save from Fletcher, then Gemma Hunt headed a Lizzie Laws cross just wide. The Dons went ahead in the 43rd minute, Gemma Hunt crossing for Laura Smith to control and volley past Fletcher. Simmons then volleyed wide in a rare Norwich attack.
If anything, the match deteriorated after the interval. Fletcher brilliantly parried a point blank Beth Sims volley then saved again from Sims after a superb Michelle Riley through ball. Andy McGrady then found Gemma Hunt in front of goal, only for Fletcher to turn her shot round the post, but in the 87th minute Gemma Hunt returned the favour, setting up McGrady for a low shot into the bottom corner.
