The Colts came into the game without a recognised keeper so right back Toby Couch stood in. The colts stormed into a 2-0 lead in 12 minutes, stand in skipper Danny Gridley and Jon Fagan with their 1st of the season. Amazingly we came in all square after a shocker from Couchy and a defensive lapse let in Links. Garland replaced Couch in goal at half time and with a demand of more goals and a second half clean sheet ringing in their ears, the boys went out and produced the goods. Ilesanmi put the Colts 3-2 up within 2 minutes after a mazy left wing run before victory was sealed with goals from Wellman and a brace from Fagan to complete his hat-trick and take man of the match. The only dampener on the day was a double broken arm suffered by Toby Couch, a real brave lad!
