Although he started his career as a midfielder at Oxford City and Wokingham Town, Alan converted to centre back after joining Hampton and Richmond Borough in 2002, where he became a fixture in Alan Devonshire's side, making 271 appearances and scoring 26 goals in the Beavers colours.
Terry Brown was delighted to snap up PE teacher Alan this summer " He is a strong, tall mobile centre back who gets more than his fair share of goals. He has proved himself at Conference South level, being part of the team which got to the play off final and unluckily lost to Eastbourne.
