Profile: Hard-working Doug has been with the supporters team all the way through, except for most of the second season when in Liverpool at university. Ironically, his only appearance that year was to score in the home iFA Cup victory over Everton.
Doug was converted from a ball playing centre-half in the mould of Herman Hreidarsson to a goal scoring centre-forward in the mould of John Fashanu in the first season when the then manager was struggling to find forwards. Finishing top scorer with 15 goals in 14 games was the answer to the manager's prayers.
Nowadays, Doug can be found leading the line and showing the commitment to win every 30/70 ball that drives on the AFC Wimbledon Supporters team to victory.
