Profile: Morden-born and a fervent Wimbledon supporter on the terraces at both Plough Lane and Selhurst Park until his playing career took off, Jake arrives at AFC Wimbledon with a wealth of experience and most recently, a Conference winners medal with Dagenham and Redbridge for whom he was an instrumental part of John Still's title winning side last season. Began as an apprentice under Dario Gradi at Crewe before successful spells at both Dover (1997-2002) and enjoyed two years with Margate. Still only 30, his leadership qualities and versatility - at centre back , midfield and right back - will be invaluable to the Dons squad for 2007/8.
