Profile: Signed for a small fee from North Greenford United of the Combined Counties League, Michael is only 18, yet won the NGU Player-of-the-Season award in 2007/8. While he began his career as a midfield player ,he was moved to centre back some two or three years ago. He said "I see myself as a centre back first and foremost and although it took me a while to settle into the role that is where I like to be now. I am delighted to be joining AFC Wimbledon and can't wait to join the squad for pre-season training." Manager Terry Brown was delighted to land the youngster over the summer. "Michael is definitely one for the future and I'll be working with him for extra training over and above the usual Tuesday and Thursday sessions. He is tall, about 6' 2" and probably still growing! He is a great prospect who we've been tracking for quite some time"
