Profile: Originally with Wycombe Wanderers, Gelly was a fixture at Northwood during a ten year spell where he was club captain and made over 400 appearances for the Middlesex side. Prised away by the persistent Dave Anderson after a deserved testimonial for the Woods, Chris has proved a valuable component of the Dons midfield in an unsung role not dissimilar to Claude Makelele at Chelsea.
