Profile: Joined the Dons in January 2007, initially on a month's loan from Woking. Began his career in his native Scotland with East Fife before a £100,000 move to Tottenham Hotspur in 2000. Although Steve scored many goals for the youth and reserve teams at White Hart Lane, he didn't find favour with Glenn Hoddle and was loaned to Motherwell before joining Woking in 2003. Was the Cardinals top scorer in their 2003/4 Conference season and won the supporters player of the year award in his last full year at Kingfield, before moving to the Dons. Versatile striker comfortable in both a central role and out wide where he can utilise his often devastating pace. Undoubtedly talented and undeniably passionate about his football - if occasionally frustrating to watch - Steve was released by Terry Brown in May 2008 to the surprise of many Dons supporters.
