Profile: Much-travelled striker whose previous clubs include Chesham United, Aylesbury United, Hemel Hempstead Town, Cheshunt, Northwood and Yeading ? where he played under Jon Turner. Came to prominence at AFC Wimbledon after a tenacious performance (and a well-taken headed goal) for East Thurrock United at Kingsmeadow last season. An old-fashioned targetman with an appetite for hard work, Darren is not afraid to put himself about and is clearly relishing the chance to come and play in front of a big crowd for the Dons.
