OBJECTIVES
Assist the AFCW Finance Director and DT by providing support and advice on the financial matters noted below AND be seen as an expert group within the supporter base where resource is available to help with projects and initiatives
Risk management and internal control
? Provide help to all DT companies on financial exposures and opportunities
? Advise on corporate governance
? Support the budgeting process through review and input
? On request, review areas of concern to ensure adequate controls are in place and are operating as designed
? Provide fiscal advice on all significant new ventures
Financing
? Current ? to reduce the cost of the existing debt
? Future ? to find the best ways of financing new ventures
? Researching sources of grant finance
? Periodic review of effectiveness of cash management
RESOURCES

? Financial and commercial management in a wide range of organisations
