Dons Trust Working Groups - Fundraising
The fundraising working group is a group of dedicated supporters who meet regularly to plan, manage and run fundraising events on behalf of the Dons Trust. Funds are raised to repay the loans taken out to acquire and improve AFC Wimbledon’s stadium facilities at Kingsmeadow, with occasional contributions to other priority projects of the club.
Currently, the fundraising budget amounts to £110,000 per year. This means raising money both through ongoing activities such as the Dons Draw (see www.thedonsdraw.co.uk) and Golden Goals on matchdays and through events such as fundraising dinners and sponsored walks.
We are always on the look-out for additional people to help out with planning, managing and running fundraising events.
