Stadium Working Group
Requirement -To provide the Dons Board with specialist support and recommendations on stadium upgrade and development consistent with the Dons Trust strategic direction.
Strategy ? To be fully responsive to stadium development requests from Dons Trust Board and ensure that the Board is fully apprised of stadium development recommendations so that the Board can approved them or otherwise in a timely manner consistent with ongoing success of the Trust.
Objectives
1) Ensure that the Football Club has a stadium to meet its needs including training facilities.
2) Provide advice and support on enhancing Kingsmeadow.
3) Provide advice and support on the provision of training facilities.
4) Identify a suitable location upon which to build a stadium to meet long term needs.
5) Advise on Stadium design, plan and build.
6) Liase with planning bodies etc.
7) Supply stadium development progress reports to Dons Trust Board on a quarterly basis, generate material for communication to Dons Trust membership and other publications within and outside the Trust as requested by the Board.
8) Respond via the Dons Trust Board to stadium development issues arising from within and outside the Dons Trust
Resources ? Mixed skill base to meet objectives, comprising architects, planners, developers, building management, financial and legal. Existing skill mix participating in Stadium Working Group work considered suitable for current tasks.
Budget ? Operational - £0
Specialist projects ? it is likely work on Green Traffic Plans may commence this years as well as initial plans for extending Kingsmeadow which may call for an expenditure within the current financial year of £5,000
Reporting/Monitoring ? Three monthly reports to Dons Trust Board
