The Staines XI triumphed in a sedate affair, with many of the Dons players clearly still feeling the effects of Tuesday's exertions. Noel Frankum set up the Dons' consolation for Martin Randall and Rob Ursell and Ryan Gray looked the liveliest Wimbledon players on display.
Chris Gell and Richard Gell started the match for each other's sides, although it took most of the crowd a while to realise that, such is the similarity.
The match concluded a successful benefit season for Staines' Joe O'Shea.
