Welwyn Garden City Ladies
Match report
AFC Wimbledon Ladies continued their early season struggle with a defeat again unbeaten Welwyn Garden City. The early loss of central defender Rebecca Duggan after quarter of an hour didn't help, but Charlotte Nash performed heroically in goal as the visitors rained shots on the home goal.
The second half continued in much the same way, an injury to Nari Yung disrupting the Dons' shape with twenty minutes remaining and Welwyn's Faye Reed took advantage of the disruption to finally score the only goal of the game a few minutes later.
AFC Wimbledon: 1. Charlotte Nash, 2. Nari Juna (14. Emma Roberts 68m), 3. Lisa Coughman, 4. Rebacca Duggan (12. Nicola Carter 15m), 5. Catherine Alderton, 6. Sasha Denny, 7. Amy Price, 8. Claire Malone, 9. Jane Delahunty, 10. Laura Topliss, 11. Rebecca Yarland (15. Deena Rahman 46).
