Sunday 02 November 2008 Surrey Youth League U14 Cup
1st half: The game was mainly played in the opposition half with AFC creating many chances. George scored 2 goals (11 & 30 mins) which was then followed by two more goals; Bobby (33 mins) & William (34 mins). Just before half time, one of the opposition players were given a red card by the referee following an off the ball incident. Half time score was 4-0 to AFC.
2nd half: The opposition started with 10 players who mainly were chasing the ball from side to side. AFC dominated the game by scoring 7 further goals. Alex scored (55 mins) from George’s cross which was then followed by a series of goals; Perry (58 mins), 3 goals by Michael (62, 66 & 69 mins) and James Norton (68 mins). Finally, Tommy scored the last goal (70 mins).
Overall, it was a one sided game with no credible threat from the opposition. AFC dominated the midfield by passing the ball around and creating a lot of goal scoring crosses.
