Match report
Dons entertained the league leaders Walton & Hersham.
Although the visitors had the best of the first half, only a goal scored after 20 minutes separated the teams at half-time.
Once the Dons abandoned the long ball game, and concentrated on playing to feet, they came more into the game and dominated the second half. They were rewarded seven minutes from time with a deserved equaliser, when Towse took a quick free-kick from outside the box giving the goalkeeper no chance. Three minutes before the end, they almost snatched victory as a long free kick from Towse found Townsend whose header flashed just wide.
