Match report
treble winners afc wimbledon come out of the blocks very slowly in this fixture and found themselves one nil down to an own goal from alex cassells.
afc quickly equalised with a penalty from michael gee.
the first half was dominated by wimbledon but failed to take their chances and fell behind again to a a very dubious penalty decision when the player seemed to lose his feet under no challenge the linesman informed the referee of this but no action was taken.
half time 2-1 to the visitors
the second half was a different story changes had to be made after this poor first half performance.
and wimbledon quickly got back into their stride and dominated all of the second half with the visitors not creating any chances just all they wanted to do was hang onto their lead.
william nightingale equalised with a well taken strike game on.
a great strike from charlie craig which the keeper could not handle fell to the feet of tommy bradford and tommy scores them for fun 3-2 and game over.
not a good performance from wimbledon too many boys had an off day buy a decent win.
welcome to the elite division acsot afc wimbledon wish steve chell and all his players and parents all the very best for the season ahead.
man of the match was the ascot keeper and the defenders in front of him .
