afc wimbledon welcomed old rivals sutton utd to this mouth watering fixture with afc wimbledon having not lost for nearly two year and sutton utd unbeaten this season.
afc were camped in the sutton half for all the first half creating chance after chance the deadlock was finally broken with william nightingale volleying in from 18 yards one nil to the dons.
shervin come on and replaced ant ross 5 mins from half time. a long throw from shervin created mayhem in the sutton defence and the ball ended up in the net two nil to the dons.

the second half was very much the same all afc chance after chance was created but unable to finish.
sutton pulled one back late in the game 2-1 to the dons at the final whistle.
this was afc dons best performance of the season the type of performance that one us the treble last year.
we would like to with wish tony and ian the very best for this season two great guys who did comment that sutton were lucky not to be on the recieving end of a 7-1 defeat.
we would like to wish christian childs the sutton utd centre forward a quick recovery after damaging his ankle.
