Match report
The reserves suffered their most disappointing result of the season as they lost 2-0 at Walton and Hersham in the semi final of the Surrey Premier Cup.
After a fine run of results the Dons never got going, and were not helped in the early stages when Merry was injured after an unnecessary foul by Walton's centre forward. Although the better of the chances went to the Dons in the first half with Rob Hill, Bamfo, Fernandes and Skinner coming close, it was the home team who took the lead ten minutes into the second half. A ball down the middle evaded Taylor and Ward, and Walton's forward took the ball on and gave a restricted Merry little opportunity. Two minutes from time the home side clinched the tie when an unmarked forward headed home to complete the Dons' misery.
