Match report

The Dons returned to League action at Molesey and ran out easy 4-0 winners, with some high quality goals.

After near misses at both ends the Dons took the lead after 27 minutes when Rob Hill's pinpoint cross from the left found Earp, who headed home strongly from close range. The lead was increased just before half time when Rob Hill collected a poor clearance from the Molesey goalkeeper, and his through ball found Morley whose left footed shot fell just inside the far post.

On 50 minutes a cross from Rob Hill was not cleared and Earp cracked home a left foot shot. Townsend and Frankum both had shots well saved but the Dons added their fourth with a superb goal. Playing the ball from the back Rob Hill was released down the left. As he ran at pace he looked up and delivered a 40 yard cross which arrived in the penalty area at the same time as Earp, and his right foot volley flew into the back of the net.
