Match report
AFC Wimbledon Ladies cruised to a 6-0 Southern Division victory against lacklustre Langford.
The Dons had three first choice players out, but the visitors fielded only four of the players from the October match between these two sides and failed to create a single half-chance. The Dons went ahead after 65 seconds when Christine Alamu burst past two defenders to score with a low drive. In the 17th minute a Lizzie Laws free kick was fumbled by Tape and Maria Bertelli stabbed the loose ball home. Nine minutes later a Laws corner was headed against the bar by Rachael Axon and Bertelli again reacted quickest to force the ball over the line. Two minutes later it was 4-0, Keisha Ramos crossing for Laura Smith to bundle the ball home. Ramos then crossed for Alamu to have a shot kicked away by Tape to McGrady, who shot wide of an open goal. Tape then made an excellent low save to deny Laws and McGrady was clean through but could only find the side netting.
After the interval Carly Hunt set up Michelle Riley for a powerful drive that cannoned off the angle of post and bar, but Laws extended the Dons lead in the 63rd minute with a dipping 30 yard volley over the keeper. Ten minutes from time a Laws drive was diverted into the net by the unfortunate Fensom to complete the scoring.
