Sunday 25 September 2005 West Surrey Youth League U10 Cup
Wimbledon started this cup game by creating chances from almost their first attack. With less than 10 minutes played the keeper had been forced into two good saves and two shots had hit either post. But Wimbledon got the goal their football deserved on 16 minutes when a cross from Sam Toms found George Martin whose shot was parried by the keeper into the path of Callum Glavey for a tap in. Sam Toms then got his name on the score with a fine strike just before half time.
Wimbledon kept the pressure on the second half and Callum Lawson scored followed quickly by two goals by George Irwin and George Martin both from corners. The sixth goal came from some good work by George Irwin who crossed from the bye line for Eddie Mason to finish. Wallington never gave up but Wimbledon were too strong for them.
