Match report
Wimbledon were in high spirits following their defeat of Kingstonian the previous week, but Rocks Lane Girls had other plans for their visit.
Wimbledon started well, with a free kick just edging wide, but Rocks Lane quickly showed their dominance for the game with a deftley taken shot in the 8th minute to put them 0-1 ahead.
Shannon Lindo came close on a number of occasions, supported by a strong midfield, but in the closing stages of the first half it was evident Rocks Lane had much more to give.

Rocks Lane started strongly scoring two goals in quick succession in the 41st and 45th minutes - the second just beating Sam Saddington in goal. Wimbledon fought back strongly with Jess Ellaway coming close, and then Shannon Lindo pulling one back in the 49th minute.
Despite continuous pressure from the Dons, they couldn't pull back the deficit, and Rocks Lane punished the Wimbledon defence in the final minute by catching them on the break.
