Match report
This was the first time in many weeks that the Dons had a fixture which on paper looked a tough game, and so it proved. the Dons had previously won 5-0 at Woking, but Woking came here with a totally different attitude, and played some good football. The first half was very even with the Dons having a few chances that missed the target, and Woking had a couple of good chances missing the target, and keeper Marsden making a good stop. There were good performances from Harrison Dunk, Will Marlow, Godfrey Ayere on his debut, Adam Fletcher, Michael Kyere and in the second half it was a different story with the Dons putting pressure on the resiliant Woking defence. It was Will Marlow who finally broke the deadlock with a fine looping shot into the Woking net. Woking came back with a few on target efforts but lacked anything to worry keeper Marsden, and the new centre of defence partnership of Ed Bell and Godfrey Ayere. It was a good game of football, on a nice surface, in good conditions, which was well refereed by Mike Malin.
