Woking Town U15
Match report
This game v. Woking Town Youth started at a high tempo, and within minutes the Dons were 2-0 up, with goals from Will Marlowe and David Fayinor. With the Dons playing good flowing football, soon possession was nearly 100%, it was only if the target was missed or an attack did break down that Woking managed to get a touch of the ball. At half time the Dons were 5-0 up with a further goal from Will Marlow, and David Fayinor, along with Jamie Streat firing home. the game plan was to keep a clean sheet, but the Dons defence went virtually untroubled in the first half, with keeper Rob Marsden having to make a fine save from a close range headeer.
The second half started with an even higher tempo and David Fayinor getting his hatrick and soon followed his fourth. Elliot Mitchell scored a fine header at the far post and Adam Fletcher drilled home a fine left foot shot. The clean sheet remained even though concentration did lapse on a few occasions, but Woking only managed a cross shot which Marsden held onto well. Woking kept plugging away, but the 9-0 win was well deserved.
There were good performances from Will Marlow, Jamie Streat, Ed Bell in defence, and obvioulsy David Fayinor.along with his supply man Harrison Dunk.
