Match report
another top of the table clash for the Dons, the youth squad defeated aldershot last week 3-1, so the dons knew they were in for a tough game. But an early strike from Will Marlow, eased the nerves. Will did really well, and it was a goal Ronaldinho would have been proud of, as Will cut into the box and cleverly chipped the keeper.
the dons soon went 2-0 up when Harrison Dunk sent in a superb free kick and Michael Kyere, smashed the ball home. Aldershot pulled one back just before half time, when a corner was not defended well and the ball was headed home.keeper rob marsden had to tip a fierce drive over the bar just before the interval.
in the second half the Dons took control and david fayinor added to the lead with a well taken goal. aldershot pulled one back near the end, to cause a few nervy moments.
Will Marlow put in an impressive performance, along with Harrison Dunk's first half showing.
Michael Kyere went down and was knocked unconcious from a kick to his temple, and thankfully after the ambulance had taken him to hospital he was given the all clear after numerous tests.
