Sunday 06 November 2005 Surrey Primary League U10 Division One
AFC Wimbledon started slowly in this top of the table clash and fell behind to a well crafted goal from the home side after only 5 minutes. Once the visitors had found their form there was only one team in it and Jerell Gidden equalised with a tap in after Charlie Bulmer had crossed from the left. AFC went into the interval leading 2-1 with livewire Eddie Pinder racing onto a fine through ball from Charlie Bulmer to finish neatly.
The second half was dominated by AFC and Charlie Bulmer capped an outstanding all round display by beating 2 Abbey Rangers defenders before slotting the ball past the advancing Abbey Keeper, he then hit the bar twice in as many minutes with a header and a shot that was parried by the impressive home keeper. The defence was solid with Reece Brewster and Kiran Khinda-John putting in another fine display along with the safe handling in horrible conditions of keeper Callum Fenton-Jones. AFC rounded off this impressive victory when Henry Peuble and Jamal Daley combined to release man of the match Charlie Bulmer to leave the home defence standing once again before
crossing to the back post for Eddie Pinder to score a diving header for his second of the game and complete another fine display.
