Sunday 29 January 2006 Surrey Primary League U10 Division One
It was a frustrating mornings work for the under 10?s as they created numerous chances in this game but found either the Woking goalkeeper or the woodwork in their way. The opening exchanges were fairly even until Charlie Bulmer robbed the last defender and smashed a hard low shot into the goal to put The Dons 1-0 up. The visitors created a few chances of their own before a neat move resulted in a fine effort to bring the scores level at half time. The Dons looked solid throughout but failed to get their passing game going, however they did create a number of chances but it was just one of those days. Special mention must go to the defence of Henry Peuble and man of the match Reece Brewster who gave little encouragement to the visitors forward line and the boys remain top of the league despite this not being one of their best performances although they did manage to hit the post an amazing 6 times.
