Sunday 11 December 2005 Surrey Primary League U10 Division One
AFC Wimbledon kept up their winning ways with another impressive victory over a hard working Chertsey Town side. The Dons took a deserved lead in the 12th minute after Charlie Bulmer was quickest to react to a ball on the edge of the area, smashing the ball on the half volley to the right hand corner of the goal giving the diving keeper little chance. The Dons then piled on the pressure with Jerell Gidden and Jamal Daley going close, only to be denied by the home keeper who had an
excellent game. It was much of the same in the second half with the Dons on top and they finally added a second after 33 minutes with man of the match Eddie Pinder scrambling the ball home to complete an excellent display from the livewire midfielder that drove the Dons on time after time. Chertsey did produce a couple of good chances that Dons keeper Callum Fenton Jones saved well with his hands and legs and the whole team battled well to
preserve their 2 goal lead.
