Sunday 22 January 2006 Surrey Primary League U10 Division One
AFC Wimbledon strengthened their lead at the top of Division 1 with another fine all round performance against Woking Youth. Charlie Bulmer opened the scoring after exchanging passes with man of the match Jerell Gidden but the home side scored a very good goal of their own to equalise before Charlie Bulmer completed a clinical first half hat-trick to give the dons a well deserved 3-1 half time lead. The second half was much the same as Jamal Daley smashed home a free kick from the edge of the box and Charlie Bulmer added his fourth with a great turn and shot to confirm the points. Jerell Gidden got his reward for an outstanding performance with a long-range effort and George Irwin completed the scoring before the end. This was an excellent passing display from The Dons that was a joy to watch and they are now in a strong position at the top of the league.
