Sunday 20 November 2005 Surrey Primary League U10 Cup
Wimbledon and Elm Grove Colts produced an entertaining cup tie that was only settled in the final minutes on Sunday afternoon. Kiran Khinda-John gave the Dons a 1-0 lead after 15 minutes with a fiercely struck drive from outside the area that shot past the keeper. Elm Grove battled and tackled well to score an equaliser just before half time and set up a thrilling second half in which both sides had chances, but the Dons were in the driving seat creating a number of half chances. Wimbledon were solid at the back with Henry Peuble having an outstanding game along side Reece Brewster. Just as it looked as if extra time was looming, striker Charlie Bulmer turned the last defender and smashed the winner into the bottom right hand corner 3 minutes from time to seal a well deserved victory that sends the Dons into the next round.
