Match report
This match was played in perfect conditions. Tooting came out strong, and should have gone one nil up, with the Dons defence half asleep, but their forward, shot well wide. Soon the Dons took control and were 1-0, 2-0, 3-0 and then 4-0 up within a 20 minute period. The scorers, were Ed Bell 2, Godfrey Ayere, and a fantastic strike from Harrison Dunk gave the Dons a well deserved first half lead. The second half started the same as the first, but this time the Dons sleeping defence, let Tooting score a scrappy goal. But normal service was resumed shortly after, when Godfrey Ayere added a second goal to his tally, David Faiynor, then went on to score a brilliant hat-trick, which added to his improving team play of the first half. Peter Hames, was put through to score a deserved goal, for his efforts during the game. 9-1 was a very fair result. there were very good performances from Michael Kyere, Elliot Mitchell, and Harrison Dunk.
This sunday the Dons play the first of their two cup finals, the League cup final, v. Hayes at Westfield F.C. 1:30pm k.o.
