Sunday 26 November 2006 West Surrey Youth League U11 Premier Elite
AFC Wimbledon continued with their unbeaten run this season with a resounding victory over Epsom Eagles Colts. First to score after 4 minutes was Ben Hunt with a fine strike. Then George Jones scored his first league goal for the club. This was closely followed by his second, which was the goal of the game, when he lobbed the keeper from distance.
The second half continued as the first had finished with the Dons on the attack and they broke through again on 35 minutes when Eddie Mason got his name of the score sheet. Ben Hunt then claimed his brace and the goals were completed by strikes from Callum Glavey and Ebenezer Isiaakpena. The Dons defence were hardly troubled all game and down the opposite end the Eagles keeper pulled off a string of fine saves to keep the goal tally down.
