Sunday 01 April 2007 West Surrey Youth League U11 Premier Elite
On paper this looked like it could be another rout like the previous week. The floodgates opened after only 4 minutes when Ebenezer Isiaakpena scored. Luc Vezzu then got in on the act by doubling the lead. On 24 minutes the Dons were awarded a penalty but unfortunately the keeper saved George Martin?s kick. A minute later though Bradley Sexton increased the lead.
The Dons were playing lovely football but being let down by the final ball. With time running out George Martin got the goal his football deserved and with almost the last kick of the game a Manorcroft defender deflected a Wimbledon shot into his own net. For the second week running the Dons defence had not been tested at all.
