AFC Wimbledon Former Senior Squad
Name: Romone Rose Date left club: 04/05/08
Profile: Teenage QPR striker Romone joined Ryman Premier outfit AFC Wimbledon on a work experience deal in February 2008, marking his Dons debut with a goal in an under-strength side away to Bromely in the London Senior Cup .
The 18-year-old has been among the goals for Rangers' under-18 and reserve teams this season and youth boss Steve Brown feels the move will be beneficial. "It will provide great experience for him.The under-18s is too easy for him and we've already seen that he can do well at reserve level. Now we want to see how he copes playing in the Ryman Premier Division. Romone has all the attributes needed to succeed as a professional footballer - what we want from him now is to kick on and progress."
