Profile: A left-winger with good crossing ability, also comfortable at left-back. He started at Leyton Orient, making over 20 appearances in four seasons. He spent time on loan at Lewes in 2006 and was released the following year. Derek joined Wycombe Wanderers on a two-year deal but never broke into the first team, and his contract was cancelled in January 2009. He moved to Ebbsfleet for the rest of the season, and was signed by the Dons in June.
