Profile: A former youth player with Charlton who came through the Chelsea and Ipswich academies to earn a contract at Portman Road. After making one substitute appearance for Ipswich he went on loan to Brentford in 2007/08, making 17 starts and scoring twice. Released by Ipswich, he signed as a non-contract player at Stevenage, where he made 11 starts before joining his local side Dover in 2008 and making nearly 60 appearances in two seasons, scoring 11 times. Sammy signed for the Dons in July 2010, in pursuit of full-time football.
